How does someone promote a kids worship album? If you have ever listened to a kids worship album you might of Kids Bop or a choir of tiny voices. ONLY JESUS is a worship album for the next generation. The album came from a partnership between Austin Stone Worship and The Austin Stone Family Ministries. It is an album anyone will enjoy and sing-along to. The music raised the bar and we were challenged to support the album with a visual brand worthy of the quality of the music.
Creative Direction / Brand Build Out / Book Design
The initial logo and album cover were created by Gary Dorsey by using a graphic by artist and painter Jim LePage. We wanted to continue the clean, exciting, and bold look and feel through the rest of the brand. We leveraged the logo to build a fresh and exciting brand that anyone would recognize and get excited about.
The foundation of the brand is the bold and exciting painted "J". The "J" is exciting, eye-catching, and one of a kind. We capitalized on the bright painted elements to connect each piece of the brand. From the shirt to the disc face, and everything between, the bright and bold colors build the brand.
The Build Out
We leveraged the brand in many different mediums. We made shirts, a book, CD, and signage all for the album and release party. The 20-page family worship guide is a beautifully bound book that helps lead families through a devotional for each song. Not only is the book nice to look at but it is a great tool to help families grow closer to God. We created signage, stickers, and stamps all to help create and amazing environment for the families and kids at the ONLY JESUS release party.
